for the few of you that didn't get an excited text this morning:

I passed my driver's test!

I get green p's, which I didn't expect. Note to Vicroads: possibly the reason 25 year olds tend to drive better than 18 year olds is because the vast majority of 25 year old have been driving for 7 years? And not anything inherent to a 25 year old?

Non-victorians: new law gives one year of heavier restrictions to new drivers, marked by red p plates. Concise listing of extra restrictions: no mobile phone use (not even handsfree); no more than one passenger aged between 16 and 21; also not allowed to tow.

Now the next exciting thing will be getting all my stuff into boxes. I suggested leaving many of my books here but Mum really doesn't like that idea. All Lachlan's books are in my room though, so if I take my bookshelves she's going to have various piles of books all round the house. Well, more piles of more books. No, I have no idea where Lachlan's books were before he left. Possibly some kind of disappearing bookshelf.

I agree with you re: the reason 25 year olds generally drive better than 18 year olds... I've seen a lot of new drivers who are really really cocky and think that they're awesome because they're over 25. It's bullshit, and I don't feel safe being a passenger in their cars. Ha!

No offense to you. lol. I've never been a passenger in your car. :D One day maybe.

Congratulations! :) I'm very proud of you.
