so, lanafish got the cute guy on the chaser countdown to say "hi to emilly who has moved to ireland", very nice. (then he tied his shoelaces together and ran around the couch. who gets someone to sit in front of a webcam and remind people that it's 8 days till the chaser starts? when did the abc get insane like that?)
a stranger emailed me a copy of biddy's secret! THIS IS VERY COOL. this is the last of those books that cost hundreds of pounds because they only did one print run in the middle of the war and it was crappy paper and they all fell apart BUT someone typed it out! and it arrived on my birthday! excellent.
Also, artic winds, very busy at work, apparently Galway's drinking water is contaminated, nice to know that. See? it's good that i only drink beer and tea and coffee.
I was going to say something else but i've forgotten. There are strange noises coming from upstairs. Either someone is mopping the floor really loudly with an extra large mop, or else they are trying to remove some kind of dead but still wet sea monster. I'm not entirely sure how a sea monster could get onto the second floor, but then who would buy an extra large mop? giants would not fit in these apartments. Right. Off to the pub to convince people that it's their round cause it's my birthday and anyway i'm skint.
