norway! and music! and things!
So I'm trying to work out how to get to norway next month to meet my brother (FINALLY!). However it seems ridiculously awkward and complicated and the sites i usually use to compare prices don't believe that there is any other airport in Norway than Oslo Torp. I think my best bets are KLM (stopping in Copenhagen) or SAS (in Copenhagen or Oslo). If I go Ryanair I have to find another, separate flight between Olso Torp and Bergen. I think. I'm not as good at this as I thought I was. As long as I don't have to stop in Dublin, Heathrow AND Copenhagen!
Of course, this exercise may be totally in vain, as I don't know WHEN he arrives and I need that first so I can get off work.
Also, my pay is finally all sorted out, and just in time, as I have to pay rent tomorrow.
Erin McKeown's gig last night was terrific, and her new album of standards is also good. Apparently there is another fairly new album which I will have to borrow off Flanders and have a listen to, I only had money for one of them. Electric picnic tickets are also all bought and paid for (which is why I only had money for one cd last night!)
It is possible to keep Emilly off the internet for over 24 consecutive hours, but only if I lend the laptop to people living in another house. It's back now, can you tell?
