I am home!
I have one day to get my shit back together and then work tomorrow, godsdammit. Found my glasses, can't find my laptop. how do you lose a laptop?
Brisbane was AWEsome. The wedding was spectacular, the partying also, the weather was perfect even if we weren't in queensland right then. We overestimated how much booze we might drink, which had the excellent effect of making emergency trips to the offie unnecessary. I got to see drjon for lunch, and he showed me round brisbane - well, to the sf bookshop and the noodleshop, but that's really where my priority is!
I have a feeling I also had an excellent time at swancon, but apparently if you drink solidly for the eight days since a convention it's rather harder to remember the convention than otherwise! meet a bunch of lovely people and got to see Danny, Alison and Tiki again - really Tiki and I live in the same city, why are we going four hours away to meet?
Have now got to get out of my shifts on anzac day weekend and see if i can fly back up to brisbane for madeline's birthday party. and then in june or july, i get to see Lana, and september I'm going to see Angela in auckland. Who loves a real job with eight weeks leave? Emilly does!
