Important safety tip: If you are meeting an ikea friend at the terminus for birthday drinks, check and make sure she means the ikea terminus. Cause there's always a chance she doesn't mean your old local, but instead her local. On the off chance that she has recently moved to Clifton Hill, bring a non-drinking brother along and you should make it to the other pub in good time.
Other things: seals and sealing wax. And a new theredsunband album! and borders vouchers! which mean new stitch dictionaries, and things to read on the plane. And brisbane! where i doubt i will need thermals which would be a nice change.

i was cleaning out my fish tank, and i was carrying the lid...and i slipped and gashed open my thumb. i gashed it good...got the tendon and all! but only a bit of tendon. so it's all strapped and bandaged so that i can't move it, cause then hopefully the tendon will heal on its own. otherwise i have to get surgery! booooooo. i'm just annoyed cause i planned on using my uni break to be crafty but now i can't even write properly!! but i get the stitches out this thurs, so hopefully it's all good then.
