for you train ticket holders: connex didn't make the compensation level in feburary, so if you have a monthly or more ticket that was valid that month, you can get a free daily ticket! yay. the form and details are here.
conceivably this is old news, but i only found out this morning: we got to oakleigh and sat there for a while; a few minutes later we got the news that there would be no more trains into the city for an hour. there are a lot of people on a peak hour train from dandenong to the city: watching them all try and fit into a bus up warrigal road is fun only when you are already on that bus.
