yay i got home before 2.
(so i spend this time on the net rather than sleeping or studying.)
Last night was great, I got many things done and spoke to many people. While watching the support band -- the sinking citizenship, who were cool -- i saw a familiar looking silhouette. I poked it, and then had a second of omg, i've poked a complete stranger, and it's much much too loud to explain anything, cause i don't know sign language, i'm just going to have to run away and avoid that half of the room the rest of the night -- and it was a very small room -- but luckily, it was in fact John so it was alright.
And then, between sets, I was poked, by Amanthi, and Chris, whom i've not seen for a year! So that was cool as well! And Bluebottle Kiss are awesome, better than i expected. But next time Louise suggests we go see a band she likes I will be bringing ear plugs, because OW. Also, next time, i might not suggest a girl who has to attend choir rehearsal the next day should come see a band with a smoke machine, and red lights all over the sound board. At least there is no smoking any more.
Stupid ex got drunk and started messaging me, but i replied, pointing out that everytime he does that, all my friends get to see how stupid he sounds. And he promised to leave me alone. But then, he's promised that a number of times over the past year, so i don't know. He must have gotten started really early, to manage such pathetic drunkeness by only 10pm.
And now I'm just home from seeing Low, and Machine Translations, who were very good. And Louise likes Low, which just goes to show that our musical tastes are more similar than previously advertised. If not for stupid transport issues, and having to be at work tomorrow morning, it would be an excellent weekend. Or in fact, not tomorrow morning, but in eight hours. Maybe I should get off the computer.

Dear Crazy Customer,

Honestly, I don't care what you were told by some lady in another store. We don't have any take away. We've never had any take away.

Screaming across the restaurant that I'm wrong about the policy of my own store only makes you look rude & stupid. Did you realise that other customers -- complete strangers -- came and apologised to me for your behaviour? If complete strangers were embarrased by you, what on earth do your kids think?

And did you really come back up two flights of stairs just to yell at a waitress? And then run into other customers on your way back out again, spilling their food & drink? Was it worth it? Do you feel a more fulfilled human being, now that you're on our security guard's list of crazy people to watch out for?

You were buying a muffin! If you really wanted to eat it on the run, why the hell didn't you just pick it up and leave?

caity, here's X3 reviewed half in comments which i mentioned the other day. You (or Lana?) are still the only people I've seen to suggest the really obvious way for Rogue/Bobby without Rogue having to be cured...
