Went to Flanders' parents' farm for the long weekend, as you can imagine the most exciting weekend ever. While there I helped Flanders type out his resume, which was fun, as I seem to have a mental block at the spelling of the words "electrian" and "electrical". Guess what kinds of jobs Flanders has had?
My battery is apparently "nearing the end of its usuable life" which is irriting, as the laptop i've got is discontinued anyway and the list of batteries availaible at dell.ie or .com.au were all ridicously expensive. Ah well, I've got it plugged in almost all the time anyway as the max brightness on battery is just not bright enough. To be honest its's almost not bright enough when plugged in. Hmm. I :am: doomed to be the old and nearly blind librarian.
In other news I finished the first Stephen King book I've ever read. I'm not one for scary books or movies or tv, and was very annoyed to find out that no, I still can't read a horror novel without a bad dream the night after. (Honestly. The main feeling I had this morning was of being insulted. By my own subconcious.) Dammit you'd think I'd grow out of it by now!
