This is getting really tedious. So far this year i have started
-a hood for lachlan, exactly the same as my green one only red: currently sitting on my bookshelf, about three rows done, pulled the needles out to use them in something else
-socks from my berlin yarn: have been ripped out twice and the yarn is now rewound in a box
-damson, in green: that's the project i ripped out at the continuum reg desk
-knucks, in grey and purple: have the fingers done, but can't quite make the hand the way i want it, so the fingers are on needles in a bag in the hallway
-a blue mohair hood/cowl thing: ripped that out at swancon and rewound the ball
-whatever it was i wanted to make out of the madelinetosh dk that i also ripped out at swancon and now can't even remember. a scarf?
-a multicoloured scarf, one third of which is sitting in a bag at the end of my bed
-a jayne hat for lizbt: WAS ACTUALLY FINISHED, AND IN THE SAME MONTH I CAST IT ON
-endpaper mitts: ripped out twice and gave up - the contrast colour didn't suit the main
-striped griffindor mitts: ripped out twice and gave up
-the impasto shawlette: is off the needles waiting for whenever i can manage to count to 3, 79 times.
-wristwarmers in red felted tweed, still on the needles and not fucked up yet
So I've finished one of the 12 projects I've started in the last six months. I wasn't knitting at all between continuum and easter, as I'd given myself RSI: but at least those months I wasn't ripping out all my projects multiple times. I'm going to bed before i decide there is something wrong with the red wristwarmers and rip them out too.
