Sep. 12th, 2010 09:45 pmit ought to be presumptuous, on meeting ex-perth vegetarians at a bar in Northcote who go to roller derby, to say, oh! you must know Sarah Jane & Esther! except that on two separate occasions I was right, and they did know Sarah Jane & Esther. Actually I think the other time it was a bar in the city, but point stands. Sarah Jane is now my person who already knows everyone I ever meet.
Said bar in Northcote was the Wesley Anne, and we saw the Rosie Burgess Trio, who were absolutely brilliant. My new favourite song is "And the people go to war..." which i don't even think they played on the night, but I bought both the cds they were flogging.
And then we went to roller skating karaoke, which seems unnecessarily dangerous.
