So I went out to
mystefaction's house to watch dr who yesterday.
The daleks were supposed to be scary & evil right? You can tell because of how nasty the Doctor gets about them. And also because, although I don't watch too much tv, everyone else I know does, and is quite happy to talk about it.
So did mystefaction and I not be scared of the daleks because we're perhaps a little older than we ought to be, to finally be watching dr who?
Or is it something that we'd get, or at least work better, if we'd watched old dr who?
Or have they done it on purpose, to finally and completely get rid of the daleks as villains by making them kinda pathetic. And pitiful.
?
We also watched the interactive episode, Attack of the Gratze. Which was fun, ("there's a chance if you turn to ITV this evening, the galaxy may implode.") but caused me to ask again, how come they set dr who in that version of Earth which is veryveryvery similar to our own, lacking only a tv show called dr who? It would have been so much cooler if more people had gone "The Doctor? Like on Doctor Who?" That is, linked it to the tv show, rather than the mysterious & possibly evil conspiracy theory from the internets. Least I thinks so.
